glad that he is gone. He would have been nice as a 6th man but his mental stability was in question. Plus we needed a pure point guard and he just didnt fit in our youth movement.

Never liked him, the games we lost only by 1-6 pts is because of him being a stupid ball hog shooting 3s or driving in when we should be going to bosh or set a play up. Worst thing about that is after the first time, he woudln't learn and just kept doing and when the time comes you know its coming which is really annyoing to see him do what he does with the ball late in close games.

Not a team player, I kinda laughed when he said on FAN590 that KG called him saying he needs mike james.

Basically Toronto is happy to see him go. When he was hot he would give us some nice 20 pt leads in games, but those leads would dissipate when he kept on shooting once he cooled down.

I liked Mike James if we were down 10 with 6 minutes to go and he would sometimes bring us back to within 2 with a minute left...but then he would keep chucking it up instead of going for the easy 2 through Bosh...

As many games as he brought us back, he almost single handedly cost us those same games in crunch time...

He would be a great 6th man, if he would learn his role like say a Bobby Jackson...instant offence off the bench nothing more...Good Luck Minnesota, hope he keeps KG happy...

He was a good Toronto Raptor, considering he came for Rafer Alston, he did a great job. He was intense, and competitive. He never gave half effort and was always looking for the win. This was a fault of his, but one that I can't really hate on too much because he gave us a legitimate second scoring option next to Chris Bosh, something we haven't had.

That being said, I am glad he is gone, while he performed admirably for the club, he just isn't a good long-term fit for the team. It was great that we unloaded a problem player and bad contract for him, but his time has run up in Toronto and it's time to move on for him into a situation where his strengths help the team, like Minnesota whom lacks a real #1 scorer. Personally, I believe Garnett is a great 2nd option, but I'll save that for another time.
