When Mayo is playing within the offense this team is really dangerous. I could see them flaming out in the 1st round, but they could also make a run into the 2nd weekend.
I think Stanford may have some reason to be worried as well. I thought they were a solid team that would have no problem getting into the Sweet 16 or even Elite 8, maybe even the Final Four, but if they lose this game and drop out early in the Pac-10 tourney, they are really backing their way into the tournament and that is were you want to be with so many teams really looking to upset.
This is way off topic, but does anyone else think there were less upsets last year becuase such a big deal is made of mid-majors? It is almost like in the past teams looked past these guys and there would be upsets, but now you can't look past anyone. I think the big programs are more focused going in knowing that these mid-major conferences are really strong and that is why they are getting multiple bids.
Kansas will lose...i wonder how many people are watching the game to see that Jordan prospect some seem to marvel over (because he is rated high on nbadraft.net). Perfect chance for folks...most will miss then 2 weeks later speak on dude like they've watched him much.
Off topic but do you think we should get a thread going about the NFL draft?
Off the Court lounge bro....better yet an NFL forum.
I was at the Kansas vs. aTm game and it was very hard to watch. A&M makes so many stupid mistakes and sloppy passes. We miss passes to posts when they are in great position and we dont pay attention all the time. It's just bad. Our inexperience really shows.
