Which means he is basically letting them coast through the regular season. I think because of that mentality early in the year they developed the habit of not bringing enough intensity defensively. They were a completely different team against Boston and Cleveland on the road, winning both of those games.
I'm sure you haven't forgotten how dominant LA were at the beginning of the season, expect the same type of intensity come playoffs.
16-0 is impossible considering the amount of competition there is in the west and if LA gets to the NBA finals.
First of all that's a terrible mentality to have. You can't come into playoffs when your playing games in the regular season where you aren't going at full tilt because as soon as you get to playoffs the whole dynamics have changed and you aren't ready for that.
Secondly, the Lakers are going as hard as they can because they want the best record in the league battling it out with Cleveland so they can have home court advantage in the playoffs.
I very much doubt that they aren't going as hard as they can.
