In all honesty, he's right. Lakers bench has been inconsistent. The beatable or not depends on whether Lakers do defense on that day and the bench do their job or not or at least.

I'm still not convinced we're going to win a championship. We've had a great regular season, but we still haven't played up to our potential.
Wait, there are people from LA that actually understand what's being said and don't make ludicrous statements?

Seriously. I was shocked and actually lol'd to hear jon barry say the lakers would beat the cavs in 5 if the cavs had home court advantage.

They were a completely different team against Boston and Cleveland on the road, winning both of those games.

I'm sure you haven't forgotten how dominant LA were at the beginning of the season, expect the same type of intensity come playoffs.

16-0 is impossible considering the amount of competition there is in the west and if LA gets to the NBA finals.

First of all that's a terrible mentality to have. You can't come into playoffs when your playing games in the regular season where you aren't going at full tilt because as soon as you get to playoffs the whole dynamics have changed and you aren't ready for that.
Secondly, the Lakers are going as hard as they can because they want the best record in the league battling it out with Cleveland so they can have home court advantage in the playoffs.
I very much doubt that they aren't going as hard as they can.

There's no doubt in my mind that Utah or New Orleans can beat them in the first round. The question is of whether the refs will allow the boys to play.

They arent unbeatable, but Karl is smoking some pretty good crack if he thinks the Nuggets are going to be the team to knock them off.

Nothing wrong with his comments but this is the same guy who said the Lakers are better without Bynum...he's obviously not very bright.

He's right. Lakers are at best marginally better with Bynum, and more likely than not worse with him.
