You are the Knicks head coach. You have 2.6 seconds left...
Who will take the last shot?
For me? It DEFINITELY will not be Crawford. Like Isiah has been doing and Jamal just takes some crazy circus shot. I need someone level headed and that will PASS if double teamed or if the shot is not there. They have to have a second choice if the first choice can't come through with it. My choice would have to be a healthy Q or a Marbury/Frye pick and roll. Either to take that shot. Crawford would be on the bench just to make sure he doesn't even get the idea of forcing something up again. Which also gave them those overtimes. That has to be the reason that the team was so exhausted. Regulation wouldn't have tired them so much going into the Sixers game. I think.
Why NOT Jamal? He only hit 6 gamewinners; I can see how you say he takes bad shots, but with 2.6 seconds, I think he would be more reliable than Q or Marbs.
Maybe if Crawford took a decent shot, those last two ones in the double overtime were weird looking, hard shots. But yes he is the best shooter on the team.
I still don't think Crawford is a legit shooting guard. He has a lot to prove to me. ALOT!!! You can't deny that he has quite a few of us during the whole game like this because of the poor decisions he takes with the ball.
I wouldn't give the ball to Crawford just because I know he'll dribble in place until there is 1 second left and then fire up a very contested jumper, without even trying to create any space.
I think the Knicks are too used to giving the ball to jamal in these situations....I personally think Jamal is a nut with occasional consistancy......I'd like the Knicks to actually run a play....even with 2.6 on the clock....Like the D. Lee play....
For me, it also depends on if we are going for not having to go into OT, or if were behind by 1 or 2 and we need a shot. If we just want not to go into OT then I would give it to Jamal, but if we were going to tie it or win, I would give it to someone more reliable. Hope that makes sense.

You're expecting a play drawn up the the Knicks coach? By Zeke? That play by Lee I'm almost sure that wasn't for him. But hey, a win is a win.
Nah, seriously I guess I am ok with Crawford or Starbury taking the last shot, but Curry and Frye should be dangerous threats in the paint at clutch time, we need the young guys to step it up too when the games on the line !
