That players are better when there not on our team.

We had Terry , we traded him and now he's a great PG for the Mavericks.
We drafted away Gasol , and now look at him.
We drafted Childress way too early for what he's doing now.
We drafted Diaw , then traded him to the Suns. And he pulled out like 8 triple doubles last year.
Does it really matter who we draft ??? Luck is not on our side.

I feel ya, we just had a stupid GM making deals and screwing us up. If he messes up with the 2 picks we have he might as well kiss his job goodbye and I hope Steve Belkin takes over the team cause the other owners don't care about the team they are just using it as a tax write-off.

I always thought Jason Terry played very well for Hot-Lanta. It just so happens that now he is playing well on a 60 win team. It would be nice to have Pau Gasol. I like Josh Childress as well, good all around player. It seems like Diaw in Atlanta was not utilized properly. When he played here he was thrown out on the perimeter as a point guard. His game is more of a point-forward who slashes to the basket and can hit the occasional jumper when needed. It is nice to see him paying great in Phoenix. juice

Regarding Terry...having been roughed up by Baron Davis...Dallas is looking to trade him as he is an weak defender at Point.

Regarding Gasol...Billy is the GM that engineered that trade for Memphis !

Regarding Diaw...valuable off the bench player...but...Joe ia a very talented All Star. If Boris were to be sent by Phoenix to Atlanta free of charge...were would he play ? He could not beat out any of our starters...he would come off the bench. I like the trade Billy made...Boris plus the # 21 pick last year...likely # 20 +/- pick next year.

I think Terry was actually much better in Atlanta than in Detroit. The thing is Dallas is more successfull so he is more acknowledged. I would take him back in a heartbeat. Looks at his stats as a Hawk. His worst year as a Hawk is almost as good as his best year in Dallas.

As for Gasol you can not say he was trully a Hawks, so he does not apply to your "theory"
Chilldress is solid but should be utilized as a 6th or 7th man.
Diaw was not used properly in Atlanta. He is a solid player but Woodson wanted to play him at PG even though he is set as PF or C.
