I think Terry was actually much better in Atlanta than in Detroit. The thing is Dallas is more successfull so he is more acknowledged. I would take him back in a heartbeat. Looks at his stats as a Hawk. His worst year as a Hawk is almost as good as his best year in Dallas.
As for Gasol you can not say he was trully a Hawks, so he does not apply to your "theory"
Chilldress is solid but should be utilized as a 6th or 7th man.
Diaw was not used properly in Atlanta. He is a solid player but Woodson wanted to play him at PG even though he is set as PF or C.
