That was so nasty. Coming out of college I didn't even know Barnes was that athletic.

Apparently not a great athlete coming into the draft, damn he looked like he worked for NASA on that play.

He has adapted to his role quite well IMO. Very few players are consistent on their rookie year.

I don't know about Barnes. He will do the occasional flashy dunk, but it seems like there isn't much he can do one on one. And he's very passive. Sometimes I don't even notice if he's in the game. He really needs to get more involved. His jumpshot hasn't been consistent either. He's never really taken over any games. I think it's his attitude.

you have steph curry, david lee, klay thompson who all take the bulk of the shots among the starters. there is only one ball man. passive? he needs to have the ball to be passive. youre an idiot for just assuming its his attitude. You have one of the best pgs and pfs in the league respectively but you want your ROOKIE SF to take over games?

I can't even believe you're complaining about him

It's sad and funny at the same time how clueless you are sometimes. What the hell do you want him to do? On a good night he's still the team's fourth offensive option behind Curry, Lee, and Thompson, and on an average night he's the 5th or 6th option behind Jack and Landry.

I also can't figure out what the f*** Mark Jackson is doing to him. I've seen several games where he'll hit some shots in the third quarter, get up to about 12-15 points for the game, only to get taken out with 2-4 minutes to go in the third and not play the rest of the game. I understand Jackson likes to close games with Jack, Lee, and Thompson as his perimeter players; but I've seen games where Barnes was hot and playing well, Jack was playing like shit, and Jack still got 25-30 minutes while Barnes played about 20.

Actually, I don't think you would. He'd be another player would want the ball more and need more touches. He'd also be another ball stopper and worse for team chemistry. Barnes fits the team a whole lot better right now. Not to mention he's already shown flashes of having the potential to be as good as or better than Rudy Gay at times. Had Barnes gone to a worse team where he got more minutes and touches on offense, I think we'd see him consistently score 15-20 PPG now. Not for the season, that average probably would've ended up around 12 PPG, but at this point in the season I think he'd be getting around 15 PPG on a nightly basis on a lesser team.
