Default That was a very classy, elegant speech by LBJ

Yes I am a fan of the Celtics. Nobody goes against LBJ more than I do. But sometimes we forget that just because players are on different teams or a hated rival, that does not mean they are bad people individually.

Lebron James won his MVP award today. The NBA Channel carried the presentation and his acceptance speech live. I just wanted to post with regard to what an OUTSTANDING speech he gave on behalf of himself, the Heat and the NBA. He is one class act. If I were a Heat fan, I could definitely see why it is so easy to be pulling for such a fantastic person.

The Miami Heat should consider themselves lucky to have such an outstanding talent and a great person represent their city and team on a nightly basis.

    Epic ending words aswell...

"At the end, this isn't the award I want, I want that championship."

I don't hate him like some of the irrational idiots out there, but it did seem very obvious that he was trying hard to repair his image. Bringing up the kids (with the bracelets), talking about his PR guy, bringing up the teammates, etc.

I won't criticize him for it or anything, but he did seem like he trying hard to fix a mistake. If it was all genuine though, then there's a lot of respect for that. Some of it did come off a lot as a PR attempt.
