Cavaliers sign F Kevin Jones.

Cleveland will waive Luke Harangody with this move. Jones was one of the last cuts back in late October and he doesn't figure to play much for Cleveland. He can be left on the waiver wire in all leagues.

Kevin Jones. He's a player. Bit undersized, but to be honest... I like his game. Undrafted in the 2012 draft, signed and later waived by Cleveland in October. They've been keeping tabs on him during his stint in the NBDL and with recent injuries to Gibson and Waiters and Irving as well, they could need some help.

I think he probably will be bouncing from team to team but if he actually manages to carve out some minutes right now, I'm pretty sure he could turn some heads.

Scored 27 pts/game (54%) over three games in the NBDL, 92% ft, along with almost 14 rebounds and great efficiency. Granted, it's the NBDL, but he's been looking really good so far.

I'm rooting for the kid. Cleveland probably offers some chances for him to show us something.

nice pick-up, theres definitely an opportunity for him, coach scott hasnt been able to find a fourth big to contribute. samuels has clear limitations, and leuer, who i liked, hasnt really shown anything.

he has a decent shot at being the back-up power forward

In college he always played well against potential NBA/hyped players I remember, he is undersized but hes relentless as hell and has a sweet touch on the J as far out as 3 point range he could turn into a beefer version of Jared Dudley who was also more of a post player/rebounder in college.

West Virginia was his college right? Remember seeing him play and though he had NBA potential for sure, shocked he didn't get picked at all.
