Miami in 6 but I will not be surprised if they win in 5.

What it may come down to Corey B. vs D-Wade

Dirk offense vs Lebron defending him

    I don't like the 2 3 2 set up fro the finals.

think it will go 6 or 7 ... both teams have players that deserve a ring.

Which players from the Heat deserve a ring? Mike Bibby, and that's probably it.

dallas is going to have to score the majority of their points on spot up shots, put backs and post ups. mix in some pick n' rolls. i say this because dallas was the #1 team in spots ups in the playoffs (1.19 PPP) and #2 in post-ups (1.01 PPP). terry has been money more or less on catch and shoots in the playoffs.

i don't think you can stop dirk the way he is playing. you can just make it hard for him. only dirk can stop dirk. i pretty much expect him to average 30-35 PPG in this series.

i think rebounds is a huge factor since both teams are pretty even there. mavs bench is far better. what makes miami dangerous is their speed on the perimeter. they can close out on shooters in the blink of an eye, but dallas moves the ball so well.

it should be a good series. dallas hasn't seen a defense like miami and miami hasn't seen an offense like dallas. dallas has 3-4 guys that can legitimately go for 20+ on any given night. i also think their defense is a bit underrated. it might not be a top 5 D but i'd reckon it's top 10. i also expect them to mix in some zone to force lebron and wade into jump shooting. though the way lebron is shooting right now, that might not be too smart. as long as they don't get gashed on the pick n' roll, dallas should compete.

i want dallas to win but miami definitely has firepower. if miller can contribute like he did vs. chicago, that might be the tipping point. i just think dallas plays more as a team and can get points from multiple areas so i'm going with them in 7. it's a tough call though.

    Carlisle > Spoelstra
    Dallas roleplayers > Miami roleplayers
    Dallas bench > Miami bench
    Dallas experience > Miami experience

Mavs are going to hate**** Miami in the Finals.

If Miami wins the first two games at home, they will win it all on Dallas home floor

    Expecting in 5

or, if they split the first two, 6 game series.

but idk how dallas is gonna come out, one of these teams HAS to lose lol

Miami's should just play Dirk one-on-one and concentrate on shutting down everyone else. Let Dirk get his and make the rest suffer.

Easy win for the Heat if they do that.

Miami's D is so lightning quick on defense that the Mavs will greatly struggle offensively with that game plan.

The Mavs have not seen this intense playoff-mode Miami defense all year.

And we know Miami will score a lot of points on them just because of the overall top-level talent of Wade/James/Bosh - and we're a great perimeter shooting team too -- Miami was 3rd in the NBA for FG% this year beyond 10 feet ;-)

I will take this one at a time.. Coaching Don't know both are doing a good job, Dallas has More Role players and less Stars than Miami so I guess that is right, Miami first 3 off the bench as good as Dallas, Doubt Dallas is going 10 deep this series. Experience again pretty Even Dallas does not have edge.

    Absolutely ...

Especially if he puts the straight jacket on Dirk the way he did in the 2008 Olympics.

People forget, that's the best defense I've ever seen played on Dirk.

And hopefully he has some energy to do this on the Germans as well. Captain America style.

what are you talking about? the heat have beaten everybody they have faced in the playoffs thus far, and if they beat dallas then they will have earned their rings. thats all there is to it. the team that wins is the team that will deserve it.

I'm going with the Mavs in 6.

Dirk has been the best player in the playoffs, and Dallas' bench is just better than the Heats' bench.

Looking forward to seeing Dirk beast on, and destroy Chris Bosh. It'll be interesting to see how often Lebron checks Dirk.

So the emerging narrative of this series is that it pits two superstars against each other, LeBron and Dirk, who are trying to cement their legacies by winning their first ring. Not one reference to the legacy of the superstar who's going for his second ring?

    Sigh. I give up.

You said Bosh had a good chance at finals MVP. Your argument is invalid.
