    Default Jimmy Butler named to 2015 East All-Star team

    The NBA announced that Jimmy Butler has been selected a reserve for the Eastern Conference in the 2015 NBA All-Star Game. Butler was chosen by the head coaches in the Eastern Conference.

    Presently in his fourth season, the 25-year old Butler is averaging career highs across the board. In 43 appearances (all starts), he has posted 20.1 ppg (17th in the NBA), 6.0 rpg, 3.3 apg and 1.77 spg (eighth) in 39.5 mpg (first). He is also shooting .459 from the field, .341 from behind the arc and .834 from the line. On the year, Butler has led the Bulls in scoring 20 times and in assists 12 times, while producing 25 games with 20 or more points, including three games with 30 or more points scored.

    Congrats to Jimmy. Well deserved. Hoping he continues to be an extremely hard worker and if that's the case I'm excited in seeing him continue to improve.
