Default Can Pau Gasol lead a team to the Finals AGAIN(

Gasol is currently averaging 20-11 and playing great. At an old age of 34 it is astounding. He is the best bigman on the team and that is saying something with Noah and Gibson. Rose is trash. Jimmy Butler has been playing great too.

We saw Gasol have a mini dynasty of his own as he transformed the Lakers from first round fodder to 3 consecutive Finals appearences and 2 titles.

One of the most underrated players of this generation and leading a team to the Finals yet again might finally give him his due.... it can certainly be done in the East.

Again? Bwaha, you're a terrible, attention seeking troll. Gasol couldn't even consistently keep a talented, well coached Memphis team as a perennial playoff squad. So far it's been Thib's whip cracking, and Jimmy Butler.

Come on bro. We've had a few arguments here and there, but if you said something like this, I would respect you enough to know that you're being sarcastic. I'm just laughing at the implications of f@ggot OP's propaganda.

Aside from not being as polished when he came into the league Pau Gasols best teammates were Mike Miller and Shane Battier, two guys that played mostly off the bench when on a real title contender. And yeah they were better when they were younger, but these are guys that were never anything beyond role players.

Hubie Brown is also one of the most overrated nba coaches ever, probably because he is now in the spotlight as a commentator. The guy isn't even above .500 for his career.

Give a prime Pau Gasol a hall of fame coach and run the offense around him with an offense that takes advantage of his gifts(the triangle) and we saw the results.... Took irrelevant first round fodder into the premier team in the NBA. we all saw it.

While I wouldn't go so far as to say Pau Gasol is the best forward of all-time he is easily in the top ten, maybe even top 5. I have no interest in making any kind of official rankings at the moment however.

He could have done it without Kobe just like every playoff game he played without him. He's tough, he's not afraid to take clutch shots. You know that with him, you always have a chance at closing out games. He can get hot and smoked everyone like an assassin so no lead is safe enough.
