Just in the USA: five states have made marrying your first cousin a criminal offense. Another nineteen have banned it outright by statute. Six more have banned it but will make exceptions. There are two states where it's legal if you meet certain requirements. In the remaining eighteen, it's 100% legal. So in more than half of the USA, you can marry your first goddamned cousin and I want to puke as I'm typing that out.
China, Philippines and a few countries in Eastern Europe ban first-cousin marriage outright...and that's it. It's not explicitly banned by law anywhere else although the social stigma against it is prevalent.
The biggest offenders with cousin marriage are North Africa, the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent.
Christianity, Islam and Judaism all allow it although different schools of thought within tend to frown upon it with varying degrees of severity.
