Default End the offseason by....

Well, the season is just another two + months away and so far, I'd say we've had a damn successful offseason, turning a redundant Z-Bo into two role players in Telfair & Smith, along with a good locker room guy and a HUGE TPE, we may or may not use. What else should we end the offseason with? Here's what I'd love:

Sign Von Wafer to three years, starting at 3.0 mil of the MLE.
Sign C.J. Watson to one year with the rest of the MLE, with a player option for year 2.
Re-sign Sure Shot Steve Novak to a 4 year deal, worth a total of 12-14 mil.
Waive Ricky Davis.
Trade a portion of our TPE + a 2nd to the Warriors for Azubuike. Maybe toss in a first round pick swap option.
Trade Telfair to Orlando for J.J. Redick

Baron | Watson | Collins
Gordon | Wafer | Redick
Thornton | Azubuike | Collins
Griffin | Smith | Madsen
Camby | Kaman | Jordan

That 2nd unit has a scrappy player in Azu, surrounded by a bunch of scorers. Azu, last season, averaged 14/5 in 32 minutes on 46/44/80 shooting, which means he won't be an offensive liability. Watson won't be a bad backup plan to Sessions, who I don't think we will acquire. I'd still look to deal Telfair off since I also like Watson better.

That would be a great plan fulfilled.

I don't think Orlando would trade Reddick for Telfair.

Why not? They need a backup/third PG behind Jameer and Anthony Johnson (who, for some reason, they don't seem to like much, based on the lack of time in the Finals). Vince, Pietrus, Shard & Barnes can hold down the wing spots, and you can play Bassy/Nelson/AJ at the same time for stretches as well. Plus, they could sign Kirk Snyder for the minimum if they want, who is better then any FA PG.
