    Default Championship frequency of #1 options

    I used to think that playoffs and Finals stats/performance was the only case for GOAT - obviously that's MJ all day - but now I realize there's another great criteria - championship frequency of #1 options.

    MJ appears to lead in this category too: 6/15 = 40% championship frequency - this is also GOAT, right?

    So if someone put up identical stats to Jordan, and only played 6 years, while winning all 6, he'd be better?

    Sounds stupid.

    I'm pretty sure if someone did that, he would get labeled GOAT.

    out of years kobe started and was healthy

    1999
    2000 = title
    2001 = title
    2002 = title
    2003 ( torn shoulder/knee in playoffs - colorado surgery )
    2004 ( rehabbing all year with braces/shoulder wrap/half sleeve )
    2005 ( missing allot of the season )
    2006
    2007
    2008
    2009 = title
    2010 = title
    2011 ( knee injury requiring surgery )
    2012
    2013 ( torn achilles before playoffs )
    2014 ( achilles recover/broken leg )
    2015 ( torn shoulder )

    kobe is basically 5 out of 10... 50%

    With this logic, Jordan is 6/11

    Sophomore season injured
    1995 Season, rusty
    Wizard years too old

    GOAT gonna GOAT

    So by this logic, Kobe is the second best player in history.

    Okay.
