He looks like he could still play, too.
The 30-for-30 on Doc was brilliant BTW.
IMHO, a peak Dr. J was capable of what he put up in the '76-77 post-season, and Finals.
A playoff run of 27.3 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 4.5 apg, and on a .523 FG%. He was even more outstanding in the Finals that year, posting a 30.3 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 5.0 apg, .543 FG% series.

There's a Doc 30 for 30?
Last NBA related 30 for 30 I seen was the Knicks.

I also like what Moses said, which pretty much confirms what I've been saying here, that the 76ers were Doc's team and always will be. In 1983, Moses was the engine, but Doc was the heart and soul of the team, and he was the unquestioned leader of the group.
All in all, 6 Finals appearances for the Doc(ABA and NBA), and 3 wins. Three(3) MVPS and he had his team in contention every year of his playing career proves Doc's resume matches up with any forward in basketball history.

Very good NBA starter
Re: Happy Birthday Dr. J.
Was about to open this thread. Great video . The Doc was one of the best all around players (except jumper) ever and probably the 1st true gilder and modern dunker in basketball history.
