Wow, the fans and cameramen look better than the players themselves on the PS2 version of 2k7/8. Makes my PS2 cry a bit inside... contemplating getting this for PS2 if there are actually changed from 2k8.
Low range PS3 is like $300 while a low range 360 is about $200, still though from what I've read the X-BOX 360 is a better gaming rig.
I hate microsoft for making the X-BOX, I've read recently that the main reason they made the was not because it's a better gaming platform than the PC but that it's easier for them to stop piracy on the X-BOX. Quote from one of the main guys that worked on Direct X and X-BOX, I'll post a source later today or tomorrow on that.
The PC is the best thing for gaming but unfortunately Piracy has killed PC gaming and the difficulty to get a PC gaming rig set up takes more know-how than the average consumer has time to figure out. I just wish they would at least port these things to the PC...
Oh well, despite my hatred for Microsoft I'm going to get an X-BOX 360 because it's the best console out there right now for sports gaming.

Xbox 360 has a lotta problems such as RROD. Also, the system makes a lotta noise and its not reliable. I think they fixed the issue (not sure). For online gaming its no doubt the best console. PS3 is the future though. This is coming from a 360 owner.
I've got both 360 and ps3 and I get every multiplat game for the 360. It typically is superior to the ps3 version and 2k9 will be no different. PS3 for bluray's and exclusive games only.

From the reviews I read, I always thought the games for each console are very similar. Whats the difference?
It's really miniscule stuff that most people either aren't bothered by or don't even notice. The ones on 360 usually have a better framerate (madden is a really good example) and little details and occasionally colors tend to be more realistic whereas the ps3's colors are sharper with more overall vibrant colors.
But as I said that's just little stuff which doesn't change the actual gameplay. My reasoning for getting it on the 360 is because the controller feels better in my hand and xbox live is miles ahead of the playstation network.

PS2? I don't know man...you should get a 360 or a PS3. 360 in my opinion, bought the premium version which is now $300. If $ is an issue then you should try 2 sell some of your older games or the ones that you don't play.

I originally planned on gettin' a PS3, but at that time(last year), sh*t cost too much and it also didn't help my cause that the smaller gb versions weren't going to allow me to play any of my PS2 games. So I said f*ck it and went with the 360. I'm dieing to get my hands on God of War 3.

That's crazzzzzzzzzzzzyyyyyyyyy. So cool how they have specific info on specific players in commentary, like how Marv said AI has multiple scoring titles as they showed him warming up for the game. Can't wait for this!
