Why get a PG when the ball goes through AI anyway? Any "Derek Fisher" can do that.
Maybe not Ridnour so much, but Watson would help

He would just give the ball to AI and have no problem with it, shoot the 3 at 42% and play great defense...

But anyways, like I said, I love the Sonics PG combo, excellent combo, and would want it to stay here no matter what

LOL how many Iverson related arguments is Glove20 going to lose???

why all the hate on Iverson man?

i thought Iverson played great. didnt force any shots until the 4th quarter (and the game was basically over), and he was passing nonstop.. he played smart besides two passes that were too fancy for his own good.....his teammates need to step up in actually converting shots and catching those passes tho.

and as far as Seattle making the playoffs.....bwahaahahaha

What?

What Iverson related arguements have i lost? All I have said about him so far is that his passing numbers have been bad...

All I have said is that AI has had bad passing numbers (True)
And thats it...Nothing else, oh yeah, also that Earl Watson and Ridnour are very good PGs

I don't hate AI, hes a nice player with great individual talent...But the Sonics have had a better PG in their francise (GP (Prime) > AI)...No doubt about that

GP hasnt been in Seattle for at least 3 or 4 years... talking about GP and sonics is lame like Laker fans talking about having Shaq on their team years ago... cut it out....

its pathetic to see guys reach into the past to have something good to say about their team

and you've lost every argument involving AI that Ive seen

Gary Payton spent 12 and a half years in Seattle

How old are you? He was drafted by Seattle in 1990 as the no.2 pick of the draft, and has been in Seattle from 1990-2002

3-4 Years...

Gary Payton is the best player in Sonics history, and he represents our Francise

Wow, I would feel VERY stupid if I was you..

payton lead the sonics to the finals in 1996 when the whole league was deadly, the sonics sweapt the 2-time defending champions houston rockets that season, iverson got past indiana, toronto () and milwaukee ( )

not to mention that payton is one of the best lock-down defensive pgs if not the best.

Not to mention

he also beat the 1996 Utah Jazz with HOFs Stockton and Malone, and Iverson beat Paul Pierce in the ECF

LOL

You should feel plenty stupid as you are right now...

Can you read?

what was the date of the last game Payton played for seattle? 2002?

yet you are still pulling his name out your ass.....stop it.... its smacks of desperation

he plays in Miami now, played in LA and Milwaukee before that.... And AI is a better overall player than payton anyway

No AI > GP.

We can argue if you want but the TRUTH (and that isnt GP > AI) is neither side will agree because each side has a strong bias for the respective player being argued. I would only lose in your mind because nothing can be said to change it. If anything a reasonable less biased fan could acknowledge the greatness of the opposing player. So again pipe down kid. You have been on this Glove stuff a long time on this board. See thru. I'm an AI fan, but you're a Glove lover. So why argue with you? What will it prove that you can disagree with my argument for AI? Wow.

That could've gone either way

You said he hasn't been in Seattle for 3-4 years...That could go either way, I thought you were saying he hasn't been in Seattle for 3-4 years meaning in his career he hasn't even played their 3-4 years...

But anyways

Yeah, AI is better than Payton today

But not in his prime, GP > AI ANYDAY in their primes
