Suns will be enjoying both Dragic(who you guys had no chance of getting anyways because you guys needed a trade exception in order to even get Nash) AND your lottery picks. Thanks.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure I warned you Lakers fans about Nash and his turnovers. Dude just gets out of control, especially late in games. He's NOWHERE NEAR the same player he was in his prime. Sure, he'll still make a lot of amazing plays that make your jaw drop and give you a flashback of his former greatness. But then the very next play he'll get all sloppy and out of control.

He has a habit of constantly trying to drive through defenders into no-man's land down by the baseline of the court under the basket with nowhere to go but out-of-bounds, so he's tries to throw the ball around his defender before stepping out and it goes right into another defender's hands. He never used to do stupid crap like that when he was younger but now he does it constantly. Age has definitely taken a toll on him.

Spoken like a guy who truly knows Nash , thats exactly his state.

Clippers fans should listen to LAL fans when we say Odom and Barnes will be your undoing.

Yeah, last year that's how he was for the Suns. It was when he finally started to look "old" out on the court. It always got worse and worse the more minutes he played. Whenever he was fresh, like in the 1st quarter and beginning of the 2nd quarter of a game, he would look great. That's when a lot of his highlight plays would happen. But from halfway through the 2nd quarter through the 3rd quarter he would look ok. But in the 4th quarter he just struggled, especially late in the 4th... he just would look tired and sloppy.

The Lakers-induced mood-swings on this board are insane.

except lin would a horrible fit with kobe. lin is one of the worst three pt shooters as a PG. the lakers would have the worst shooting team of alltime.

Its not like nash is lighting it up...

Where lin would be helpful is driving to the whole & kicking it out or letting the defense collapse and feed howard...

I m sure he would have hit the occasional 3ptr

Have u seen fcuking nash drive into the teeth of defense? I havent either this year

Nash has been coasting on defense for years if not his entire career. Him becoming even older just makes it worst.

Meanwhile GP's always been a defensive monster (and the only PG ever to win DPOTY)

Who's he be kicking it out to? MWP? Kobe?
Lakers have no penetrators OR shooters. Jodie Meeks and Steve Nash are their only real guards that can hit the 3. None of their guards can really penetrate aside from the occasional Nash or Kobe drive but it totally kills their energy. There isn't a single PG in the league that takes this team over the top. This roster has a myriad of problems.

It is mainly the system. It's not about the Lakers offense. It has always been about defense. Only Dwight, World Peace and Kobe (when he wants to) play defense. Mike D puts two guards in the game between Nash/Meeks/Blake pretty often and it is horrible. On offense it stretches the floor but on defense they are horrendous. You have Meeks or Nash guarding guards like Jamal Crawford, James harden, etc. Even mike James was killing them the other night. Lakers got to get a better roster for defense.

why would you want Nash on a team that should be playing slow post-oriented basketball? It just doesn't fit! They don't have shooters or the personnel to play up-tempo

Rmb when Nash was referred to as the saviour to the lakers horrid start when most were saying that his age and D is going to be a problem. Imo u probably want to have a young quick guard playing behind Nash, ready to step in to help on D, and learn from Nash who happens to be one of the greatest point to play the game. At this point Nash can still deliver in limited minutes, but he would better off be the mentor to your young point.
