Lets say players are in today's form. (2012 and 13 being not much difference)
Anyway, rules are that you need to choose 12 players using 900 points or under but not exceeding 900. It is a 82 season grind with the regular playoff seasons. So choosing 5 star players and 7 d-league caliber players most probably won't work.
You can't choose two same players. For example, no two Kobe on same team. At the end of the day the one with the best team wins.
Anyone here's my picks...A winner and great distributor in Parker, two go-to scorers in lebron and harden and solid tough interior players in faried,scola,gasol and varejao.

The 2k rating isnt exactly accurate for making a real life roster. The signature skills option is not included in the ratings which kinda translate to real life capabilities. Also being 99 rating does not mean that you've maxed out your player so realistically lebron is higher than 99 rating.

PF: Garnett, Ryan Anderson
C: Tyson Chandler, Varejao
The starting lineup's defense would be ridiculous. Even with Stephon Curry there as the "weak spot" that defense and combination of outside shooting from Curry/LeBron/Garnett would be impossible to beat.
Then the second lineup has Varejao, Conley and Tony Allen defensively, and Durant with Ryan Anderson lighting it up in addition to Conley's 3 point shooting. Not to mention with Ryan Anderson's rebounding "troubles" you have Varejao there grabbing up any missed boards.
And you have a 4th quarter lineup of Curry Wade Durant LeBron Garnett - that team isn't being stopped.
PS. exactly 900 points. I was initially at 870-something, so I traded up Ray Allen to Durant and Mo Williams to Conley lol.

This is a terrific team. Steph plus lebron would fit so well together.

After LeBron, Steph was the first piece I put there. One of my favourite players. In reality I could've put Kyrie in there instead (he's rated lower somehow on this list) and he's a better player, but Stephon Curry is just so smooth and so fun to watch (even more so than Kyrie for me) I couldn't leave him off. I love players that when you watch them, you expect the shot not only to go in, but to just slide down the net super smoothly.
