If the front office wont change the team wont change, look!!!
It wont matter what the clippers do, they will always make bad choices and not sign good talent and over pay not that great of players players (Mobley). For the Clippers to be a good team they need a new GM. A new approach to the game. Baylor has been the GM for over 20 years and look what he has done. Maybe he works for min. wage thats why Sterling keeps him on.
Do the Clippers even have scouts or does Sterling not want to pay for that. 95% of their lottery picks arent that great. We are better off trading draft picks for talent then trying to pick a guy from college.
Livingston might be ok if he ever plays and stays healthy, It took Brand to get hurt for Kaman to step up, and im glad he stepped up.
How can we be that bad at draft picks? We cant get lucky with at least one!!!!

Re: If the front office wont change the team wont change, look!!!
I do think though that we've been drafting better. Ever since Korolev, we've taken Paul Davis, Guillermo Diaz, Al Thornton, and Jared Jordan. Honestly, there's nothing wrong with any of thiose picks. Especially Diaz and Jordan in the 2nd round, those were bold, yet good picks.
Re: If the front office wont change the team wont change, look!!!
I disagree we could have hit on someone else in the 2nd round other than Paul Davis (Craig Smith/Paul Milsap)...the Thorton pick was good but its because he was rated higher and slipped due to some questions about if he performance was due to being older than other players. How can you have so many years of sub mediocrity and have such a bad team with minimal promise...Look at what Pritchard did for the Blazers in a few years...he tore that franchise down and is building a serious contender albeit with some lotto luck and poor trading by Isiah and Ainge
The only move I really like that Elgin ever made was the trade for Brand, other than that whats even going on here?
Re: If the front office wont change the team wont change, look!!!
This is one of the reasons why I'm glad we're sucking so bad this season. Normally, i'd be tearing my hair out, but I'm just sittin back and relaxing for the season. Hopefully this losing will get rid of both Elgin and Dunleavy. We need a coach that can utilize the offensive weapons we have (when healthy)and also works well with young players so if we draft Derrick Rose, who can become a franchise player, he'll get the proper coaching.
Re: If the front office wont change the team wont change, look!!!
I think we need to get rid of Baylor as a GM for sure, but coach Dunlevey is a good coach and the Clippers can win when they put all the pieces together and him coaching. Get a GM that wants to win and can understand how basketball is played now a days. Listen to some of the deals Dunlevey wanted to do but the GM and owner shoot it down. Lets find a new rich owner that wants to win.
