Default Sebastian Telfair Sprains Left Ankle

Quote:
The downside, back-up point guard Sebastian Telfair suffered a left ankle sprain minutes into the morning drills.

Telfair sprained his left Ankle early in Thursday AM practice. He spent the rest of the morning getting treatment. It is not believed to be serious as he is listed as day-to-day.

Lawler's Law.

Well, I'm glad its not serious, we really need to add another point guard since I don't fully trust Collins. Brevin Knight anyone?

I'm a big Collins fan and want to see him on the court, but only playing spot minutes and not having a major role (at least at the point guard spot). With Ricky Davis, Butler/Thornton and a couple of Craig Smith, DeAndre Jordan, Steve Novak, 3rd Big, I want the 2nd unit to run the opponents off the court, and can't see Collins doing that since he's a game manager more than anything. Then again, Brevin Knight wasn't the right pick either.

I'd like Will Conroy back though

Mike Taylor or Guillermo Diaz back please at least they have tendencies to explode for big games and can be sparks off the bench. With Brevin Knight/Jason Hart those type of guys you can expect like 6 pts 4 assists at the most

I don't know, I just think Mardy was pretty reliable and consistent last year. And that is pretty rare for a backup. And he is a capable defender

I would love to see Taylor return if its a current option.. However, I would prefer to see Telfair get better soon.. I get afraid everytime I hear of little injuries because thats how last seasons avalanche started..
