What do you think about the Mavs season?

I haven't watched them at all this season and thought they were really struggling because a lot of hate towards KP and Luka online, but they're good, they're just a few games behind Clippers in 5th.

Looks pretty good to me for a 3rd season, 21 year old superstar with a malcontent co-star and a bunch of nobodies.

Luka honestly is in a similar situation as Lebron in Cavs. KP = Ilgauskas sort of.

Luka improved in shooting, 3 pointers and defense (?).

21 years old and already a Western Conference playoff fixture. That's very good.

Luka has yet to win a playoff series and i'm looking forward to that.

Mavs have recovered well from all the early season injuries and COVID issues. They are going to need KP to come back for the playoffs if they are going to make noise though. With KP I think they have the ability to beat any team in a 7 game series. W/o him they are a 2nd round team at best.

Sunday at the earliest but they haven't set a date. All Carlisle is willing to say is that KP will play again in the regular season.
