Default Kings vs. Hornets 10.24.06 (Preseason)

the kings will have a few games to prepare to start the season without Mike Bibby. I think Salmons will do well for Mike, in Philly he averaged like 17 ppg when AI was out. I'm optimistic about Bibby's injury, too, I have a feeling he will come back faster than expected.

Haha I thought this was on the old thread when I clicked it, and I was like WTF happened to all the old posts? Then I figured out we play NOK again. Hopefully Ron owns them and Salmons plays well. Also hopes Justin Williams gets a lot of Brad's time seeing as we can use what he brings even as a rookie and Brad's injured anyway. That Thomas/Reef frontcourt was just...ugly to watch. Ugh.

So he's missing this game for sure? Man that blows. Oh well hopefully JWilliams gets some PT and we don't have too see too much of the ugly SAR/Thomas or Taylor/SAR or Taylor/Thomas frontcourt. I hate it when we play midget ball

Do you think Artest will get some minutes at the 4? I've been struggling with ways to keep Ron from taking so many 3's. I've noticed that he is pretty good at posting up.

Miller has really been disappointing me lately. His passing was once a strong point but he's been throwing the ball all over the place the last couple of games. What's going on with him? Maybe he isn't fitting into the new offensive scheme.

well if the kings lose this game, it'll be because of turnovers. 81-80, and hornets have 29 points off of kings turnovers.

mike bibby looked like he was ready to play already lol, on the bench in his warm up suit and everything, well the scoring REALLY dropped without him tonight.... but it was really a good game for the kings, you couldnt ask for a better situation than how the game ended so muss could see how the players reacted.

Wow, the last minutes of the fourth was like, absolute crap. That was horrible. The play calls at the end were meh but...Turnovers have been a knack this whole damn pre-season.

Now we have to take on the Sonics tomorow. Hopefully Justin will get some time FFS.

Jeese.

Miller didn't play today... You can blame the TO's on Reef(3), Artest(5), and Kenny(6).

Execution was terrible. The Hornets got too many points in the paint too.

Yes, I know Brad didn't play today--just wanted to make sure that you noticed that my previous comments were posted prior to the game.

Turnovers have been a real problem--due to 1. New offense 2. new players 3. and today there was disorder and confusion with so many changes in the lineup.

I would have preferred the ball in kmarts hands also, the way it went it seemed like shareef didn't really follow a desgined play and tried to just make something happen. And nothing happened
