With such a "good " ending to last season, who would of thought our team would be un raveling right now . Good thing the season is young and theres still a little bit of time left to build. Hopefully Silas can do big things and get us to at least .500. Oh well, anybody going to the heat game the 3rd? I am takin out a lot of money to get up close to lbj and wade too
Me too. Silas was my choice to replace Bickerstaff.
btw I wake up this morning and this email was in my inbox:

Bobcats Season Ticket Holder,
I wanted to make sure that as a Season Ticket Holder you were the first to know that Head Coach Larry Brown will be stepping down effective immediately. Coach Brown and I agreed that at this time a change was necessary.
I want to thank Larry for everything he has done for our team. He has played a key role in this organization's development, including coaching us to our first playoff appearance last season. I will always consider him part of the Bobcats family and Larry will continue to be a valuable advisor to me regarding the team.
I am sure you know that this was a very difficult decision. As I told you back in March, owning this team is my number one priority. I am focused on building a winning team that you can be proud of and I will continue to do whatever is necessary to make that happen. We will be making a coaching decision in the near future and I will communicate the details to you as soon as they are available.
Thank you for your continued support.
Must have been sent before they got the call back from Silas.
Seems as though the whole staff "chose to step down."
Ok, everyone got fired, "stepping down" is just LeBronning it so it doesn't seem to sting as bad. I thought we had some good assistants - Hanners, Capel, etc. So are we just going to go round up some retired people? Maybe Sam Vincent, Mike Brown, and Eddie Jordan would be available.
Rick Bonnell made a great analogy when referring to the difference Silas has made.
He said, after trudging through a hot humid rainforest, up to your knees in quicksand and crap, and you come to a huge mountain, Larry Brown would want you to study it, try to find paths around it, while Silas would say, "this will be a fun hike!"
It's pretty accurate. He's got the pedal to the metal on offense and it's really helping out.
