Good stuff. Real solid career from Miller. As a Pistons fan, I didn't always like him when he played for Chicago and Indiana, but I respect his career for sure. He seemed like he could be a jerk on the court, but it didn't feel as though that carried off the floor, which is how it should be.

Of course, as an aforementioned Pistons fan, I'd be remiss not to mention this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_buA78ZInI

Loved him in both his stints with the bulls.

Guy played with so much passion and you can see alot of his style in Noah. I really wanted the bulls to make one more run at him. He could have won a title with us.

yeah, I always liked him as well (particularly young BM on the bulls). A friend who grew up around him said hes actually a pretty big asshole off the court as well. As for that clip, the first foul by corliss isnt shit. and Zeljko didnt punch him. weak sauce.

Ha, yeah, I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. I could easily picture him being a jerk off the court but I had no concrete evidence to make such a statement.

Also, never really understood Zelly's reaction in the first place, punch or not. They got tangled and he just randomly decided to step it up a notch.

Man I totally forgot he was an all star in 2004 as well. I thought his only appearance was in 2003.

One, an undrafted fullsized big man who was a solid roleplayer (and great teammate) on a number of middling to decent teams.

Which player should be more celebrated in retirement? Now, I know ben may come back next year, which changes the storyline slightly.

You have to look at the 2 different scenario. One guy has announced that he's retiring, is crying because he's retiring, during a game, very emotional, I've only heard it mentioned here. And the other guy is just being mentioned as likely to retired. So if you would just think about it, you would see the difference. Now once Ben Wallace retires, I'm sure you will see lots more mention than Brad Miller.

Yeah I've got to go with Birdman too... But he doesn't really fit the J-Will mold.
