Default Chicago Public League Taking Drastic Measures to Curb Violence During and After Games

Just saw this article today.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports...,2404480.story

The three main changes are:

-all varsity games will start at 4 p.m.

-no fans of the visiting team will be allowed to attend.

-if two schools that have a reputation or history of violence are playing no fans whatsoever will be allowed to attend.

We've had things like this happen in the St. Louis area, but the rules were usually only in place when certain teams were playing each other. Any other cities have rules like these in place?

Good to see the law being laid down and nobody messing around. This is what goes down in soccer games in Europe.

Same thing happened here in New York. We played in empty gyms because someone got shot and had to be escorted from the gym after away games.

damn atleast let the parents attend... or allow kids that have good grades to attend... kids with good grades usually aint trouble makers (notice the word usually dont jump on me, treehuggers).
