I hope it is good, and I like the idea of the organization against them, but overall doesn't look as good as the last couple.

The guy who directed this wrote The Usual Suspects, but this is only the third film he directed.

One was in 2000 and one was Jack Reacher, a Tom Cruise movie that earned 80 million dollars domestically and was called
A workmanlike action thriller, competent but never particularly thrilling.

It's pretty surprising he was given this shot.

No wonder it didn't look as good as the last 2, not as good of a director. Way of the Gun was pretty bad, and I thought Jack Reacher looked dumb so I didn't see it.

    Jack Reacher wasn't dumb at all....sure it wasn't action packed....more like a mystrey/suspense

Still, the ratings weren't anything that got me excited for that movie, or hopeful for this one.

Only reason I saw Jack Reacher was because it was filmed in Pittsburgh but I thought it sucked. With that said, I'm always willing to spend two hours watching Tom Cruise do his action hero thing.

Really? I can't think of much better looking 52 year olds. Looks much much much better than 54 year old Sean Penn.

You couldn't be more wrong with that statement. He's in his 50's and looks the same as in Risky Business without any obvious signs of having work done. Please, tell me you're being sarcastic and not just an idiot?

Anyway, the last two were a lot of fun so I'll definitely check this out. Only the second one is a bit over a the top, but all in all it's been a pretty flawless action franchise. Especially for covering 20 years or so.
