Yeah, as in one is way better than the other.

Kobe having a good portion of his career spent hurt (2013 - 2016) and being a teen in the physical 90s (96 - 98) and spending half of his prime in the tough early 2000s definitely play a role in the percentages but overall he's just not as efficient of a scorer as LeBron

Still impressive that he only averages one less field goal on virtually the same attempts despite the much more difficult shot selection and facing better defenses throughout his entire career. Truly the GOAT scorer of the post MJ-era

I mean early 2000s Western conference wasn't a joke. But not nearly as strong it has been for the past few years.

Why is it so hard to accept?

If you told Kobe/Lebron they were allowed to take 30 shots a game and they were allowed to cherrypick as much as they wanted then Lebron would always come out on top.... Has nothing to do with cherrypicking... if Kobe was able to do the things Lebron could then he WOULD DO THAT ASWELL..... as a PERIMETER PLAYER you can maybe cherrypick some shots but you cant be Steve Kerr'ing your way to ****ing ~30 PPG @ 56%FG....

Stop acting like Kobe could have average higher % on lower shots and STILL MAINTAIN HIS PPG averages....
Stop acting like Kobe was just trolling/clowning around there taking circus shots 24-7, even tho he did more of those than Lebron he did them not so by choice/will but because there was no other substitute... he didnt have Lebrons body/athleticism, Lebron sure was more bigger/stronger/faster but it takes alot of skill to exploit it the way Lebron does... without those skills he would be... dunno... Harold Minor or something....

But if Lebron gets his scoring while holding the hall longer than anyone. That means less rhythm and ball movement for his team.

Also heís stat padding. Like when he shot that 3 with 13 seconds left. Curry would have never done that.

Oh wait, we forgot - Kobe relied on jump shots and the most difficult shots there are at that - fadeaways - and he took tons of jump shots. Wow, wonder if his percentage will be lower.

Thank you for the Kobe vs. LeBron comparison, though. I found it very original.

I love how literally every single thing Kobe Kids say can get slapped right back in their face.

Brilliant
