*the torture papers written by gonzalez on how to change the terms of torture to make it sound legal, thus making it legal

*the white house memo of blair and bush plotting how to draw saddam into a war before it had happened

*Bush spent 1.6 million on the media for them to spin his propaganda

*British soldiers doing terrorism and the british army breaking them out of jail after they were arrested for it in Basra

I suggest other people at least look some of this stuff up too

I dunno about the other things but a big reason for the first asterisk is that they claim torture is illegal against POW's and the people in Gitmo are just merely "enemy combatants."

I honestly dont see what is so wrong with that first link you provided. It all makes pretty good sense if you ask me. From what I read, none of it is giving bush and cheney absolute power.
