Real14 MIGHT not play basketball anymore...

I'm an old 28 year old out there on the court. Its hard to run with these young cats everytime they wanna play 5 on 5 full court in the gym. These dudes play high school ball and college ball and tall as hell. I still have great quickness and speed but my endurance is awful because I'm out of shape. It takes a lot of work, time, and extra money to get into shape especially if you want to get in that REAL athletic basketball shape. If I'm in the zone offensively I'm in the zone but sometimes I can be inconsistent with my jumper, I can work on it but I'm still rusty for not playing in months and add some weight. Its just that in my life I think I might be over it. Have plans for the future ISH. REAL big plans. So this might be the end of my basketball days..

It doesn't cost much money at all to get into good shape. I'm the same age as you and I'd like to say I'm in better shape than most younger folks I play with.

Quitting at 28? What a puzzy. That is prime time.

I didn't quit until 40 and even then did it reluctantly. I could still play but my recovery time sucked and i was worried about getting hurt.
