Name a scenario where the league let a player play through the postseason when he admitted guilt, and handed out punishment during the offseason.
They could have just agreed he didn't know and handed him a big fine. Or they could have said other Pats might be involved and they didn't have enough info and they needed to investigate more. Or "drumroll" the Pats could have called the league office and asked them waht they could say and work with them.
Again, if you thought the NFL was ****ing up the Super Bowl, you must not follow football closely because the money leads the decisions almost always. Beat up a woman. No big deal, until sponsors complain, then it was a HUGE deal.
Brady didn't give the NFL permission about his phone, therefore they didn't get his phone records. So it doesn't matter if he blew up his phone or kept it, the NFL isn't a court and can't supeona a phone company for data.
Yes he did idiot. It's already been confirmed by numerous official news sources that he did. The only "news" saying otherwise is talking heads at ESPN.
The even more damning reports were the ones that said the Colts and Ravens owners were the ones behind pushing for the whole thing in the first place, and then demanding that Goodell not overturn any of the suspension.
That pretty much confirmed that is was a setup by the team's that want the Patriots out of the way in the AFC.
Especially considering that it is the two slimiest owners in the NFL, that everyone considers a huge black eye on the league even before any of this happened.
Goodell is a complete moron that he ever tried any of this. So is Kensil. Those ex Jets employees thinking they could take the Patriots down like this...........
This is going to destroy the NFL before it is over.
The NFL is begging the judge to just bail them out of the case now and let Brady off with nothing and claim it was some legal issue, and then they can pretend nothing happened.
But the media is finally onto that the NFL and ESPN were actually behind this and now the other media smells the blood of a much much bigger story and a much much bigger fish than Brady in Goodell.

Goodell has opened up Pandora's box by not having the brains to be satisfied enough that he had already destroyed Brady's image and reputation even though he did nothing, but he STILL wanted him gone for 4 games.
Goodell will be destroyed by this before it is over.
This Goodell guy has some serious issues..............
And the best new thing in all of this is that now it has come out that........
1. NFL Vice President Mike Kensil (said to be Mortensen's source for fake story about 11 of 12 balls being deflated) wife is a producer at ESPN and has supposedly been pushing hard behind the scenes for many of the anti Patriots and "Brady is guilty" ESPN segments.
2. The supposed 12.5-13.5 PSI rule was not even an actual rule. The NFL just NOW voted to make it a rule. The so-called rule they are claiming was broken was not even a rule that existed, which is why no one had ever heard about it before.
The place they got this 12.5-13.5 PSI from is from the box on the footballs, which is the manufacturer recommendation for inflation spec. Nothing to do with any NFL rule that existed.
