Javtokas was indeed a physical beast before his horrific motorcycle accident back in 2001...he was never the same player after that, even though he regianed his athleticism somewhat. I'm not sure he would be servicable anymore in NBA - he's quite limited offensively and is not getting any younger

But the worst position in the NBA BY FAR is the C position. Look at how many complete stiffs are in the league. He is definitely better than a lot of the stiffs in the NBA. I'm not saying he would be anything special in the NBA, but I am sure he could be a decent backup C for plenty of teams.

I read a hypothetical that nba teams will be drafting more foreigners this year in the first round to cut cost on salary by stashing their draft rights as they play overseas.
