All in all, I give my team an A- for the draft since we snared Shane Battier, got rid of Stromile Swift, and picked up a deadly shooter.
Are you the same Fatboy from draftnight?! You weren't close to being happy...

That was then.

This is, clearly, now.

I flip flopped back then. First I was pissed. Then I tried to spin it. Then I was pissed again. Now, I've long since been happy with the trade.

Everything that I talked about in my intitial "spin" of the situation has worked out in our advantage. Rudy Gay is wildly inconsistent, Shane Battier is one of the best defensive players in the game and truly does do "the little things" that make teams into contenders, and Stromile Swift is worthless.

At first I was happy with Ager, but still really wanted Millsap. But a young shooting guard prospect that was supposed to play D from a good program sounded good. So far we haven't seen any D and he's a chucker when he's in. It's still early so hopefully there are better days to come. But now I really wish we had taken Millsap. I'd love to see him as Dirk's backup and in a 6th man role. But who knows, maybe Pops might show something.

TJ Ford is making approximately $2,900,000 this season while Charlie Villaneuva is making approximately $2,500,000. Ford's extension doesn't start until next season, when he will start his 4 year contract that will pay him 33 million (8, 8, 8.5, 8.5). You can probably expect to sign Villaneuva to a similar contract if you want him to stick around long term.

Okay, it's much easier to take a stab at MIN's management, but ...you're dumb. Ha.

I would have taken Millsap over Novak. Hes Chuck Hayes with even better rebounding and a better shot. I haven't seem his hustle like Chuck's though.

No. Lets not even talk about the 2006 draft.

I am happy only if Oden is jumping center for the Hawks in November
