Default Marion trade..

So I just got into first place this week after defeating the top guy. However, I am in so way settled with my team. With the break, I am trying to look into daling a few of my guys who have the injury history, but are playing great right now (Maggette, Baron).

I have offered a few trades right now that I wanted to get everyone's opinions on.

#1. Al Jeff & Maggette for Marion & Aldridge

#2. Baron Davis & Horford for Marion & Bibby

#3. Maggette for Stojakovic

#4. Baron for Turk & Harris

Do you think I am offering enough in any of these or am I low balling it slightly? I feel like my best chance is with #2 since Bibby is his best PG and he is awful in assists. Your thoughts?

Congrats on getting to the top of your league man!

I think the first two trades are wishful thinking. If you could get them it would be fantastic, but I think your second man has to be more valuable. Its a good starting place for bargaining though, and maybe you catch a great break and score one of these deals. I can see how #2 might be effective because of the lack of assists, but now that Marion has shown that he can thrive in Miami, he's going to be expensive, and unfortunately it will probably take more.

In deal #3, is the idea to get a three point specialist? I know Peja has been playing well of late, I was just thinking that Peja's back could be an issue at any time. If you need threes though, there's nobody better to have right now. I just want to make sure you get some consistency out of Maggette's great recent play.

In deal #4, are you getting enough? I'd be worried about what Harris might do in Jersey, but maybe you're getting a steal, who knows. I love what Turk does, with the numbers he's putting up he's still a steal in terms of value, but if Baron's playing like a top 5 or 10 player, I'd think you might be able to get a little more for the first player in a 2for1.

Just some ideas that came to my head when I looked at it, hopefully you get a nice deal from those.

Yea...the Stojakovic trade is mainly for threes cause that is the only cat im hurting in for the most part. I know hes a risk, but so is Maggette. I think he will get me over the edge for threes if I can somehow get him from the owner. You are right about the other deals though. They arent gonna work I dont think. Thanks for the good advice as usual.
