I'm curious as to why Big Al wants to get bigger. He's got the offense down, but I'll assume it's so he can defend the 4's and 5's better.

It'll help him on D, and on offense as well. If he doesn't lose quickness in the process being stronger will only help him as a big man that plays in the paint. Ever seen him get muscled out of the low post position? If stronger, it'll happen less often.

Anyway, as I just read the news (which probably isnt new news at all) that Oden is probably down for the year.. Im not happy its a shame, however seeing how much WE celtics fans hoped to get that #1 pick and Oden.. this time it seems a little luck is on our side no

Not at all. Perk's got that 'aura' about him. Like his first two seasons, every foul was almost a flagrant. I loved him for it, too.
