Who knows what Jordan would have been doing at that age with the team he had in the 90's. I'm not following the point of your thread... MJ put up statistical seasons that equal what LeBron is doing now, at 23 years old? MJ was better than LeBron is now? Duh?

How did Michael play in those three first round losses? Now tell me about LeBron how played in the Finals sweep, with that stellar 36% FG percentage and 6 TOs/ a game.

Jordan played against the Celtics. That's like Lebron meeting the Spurs in the first round for 3 straight years.

Look, unlike Kobe Bryant, I actually LIKE LeBron James but people like yourself are becoming like the Kobe fanatics.

It's simple. Wait until the point in his career where Bron has actually approached JOrdan's accomplishments before comparing them.

Why is that so hard for some people to understand?

That's what people just can't seem to grasp. It's not about saying that Lebron isn't a great player, it's to say that aside from a statistical perspective alone, Lebron hasn't even approached Jordan's level of achievements. And the whole "but Lebron is 23" argument doesn't work because Jordan entered the league much later, so basically we would have to compare based on which season rather than age.

Actually in the same time frame (~ 4 years) Michael Jordan has got defensive player of the year and MVP. But I do believe LeBron has a good shot at achieving some of Michael Jordan's accomplishments as well as his own.
