I feel like most of you guys who didn't list Yeezus didn't really listen to that.

True, album was so deep. Definitely required multiple listens.

What was so good about Yeezus? Nothing more than a lazy pile of sh*t that he threw together at the last minute. Terrible instrumentals paired with dumb lyrics. It's fine if you like it, but don't say that those who didn't list Yeezus didn't really listen to it.

"According to Rubin, Yeezy even flew to Milan for a baby shower three days before he had to turn the record in, even though they had five songs that still needed vocals, and two more songs still needed lyrics."

http://pagesix.com/2013/06/27/rick-r...ore-i-came-in/.

Then of course the hipsters embraced it and made it seem like it was a deep album or some sh*t. I'm sort of glad that the album flopped.

everybody gotta face it, hip hop had a horrible year this year, overrated jay z, Kanye and Aubrey all had horrible albums, and Eminem album won't live up to expectations too. plus Kendrick lamar had one of tha most overrated verses of all time.

It's marketing genius though. Lazy lyrics and half-a**ed arrangements were turned into the illusion of some genre and convention breaking bold abstract masterpiece

I don't even have to listen to Yeezus or NWTS to know I don't like either.
I did listen to both, and NWTS is the better of the 2, but neither appeal to me in the least bit.

My favorite albums of the year:

Big K.R.I.T- King Remembered In Time
RA The Rugged Man- Legends Never Die
Ghostface Killa- 12 Reasons To Die
Chance the Rapper- Acid Rap
J Cole- Born Sinner

In that order.

Edit: Once Eminem's album MMLP2 drops I expect it to be in my top 3
