Its really doesn't matter to me if we get Gasol or Lewis because either one would help out the Bulls. We would finally be championship contenders.

True, but we would have an actual chance to win the championship if we obtain Gasol or Lewis. Even Charles Barkley, whom always criticizes the Bulls thinks that if we obtain a big man that we have a very good chance of winning the championship.

I have a feeling that we won't be getting either Gerald Wallace or Rashard Lewis. They are both talking to many teams and I feel a bidding war coming on. We know that Paxson won't overspend to get another FA this year, because he will need the money to resign Deng next year. I think we might use the MLE on a big man, but I can't see us making a big splash in the FA market now.

Hey we really won't have to if we can find the pieces to trade to Memphis to obtain Pau Gasol.

That would be nice, but I don't think Paxson would offer much more than Nocioni, Duhon, and a filler or two. He still seems to love Gordon, as useless as he was in the second round against Detroit.

I agree w Magliore. I'm thinking he is not gonna take up the full 5.5 million exemption that the Bulls have

It looks like Mikki Moore might stay with the Nets. He says he will take less money to stay with the Nets because they gave him a chance to play and a have a career year. The Bulls have been talking to Chris Mihm and Joe Smith.

It would be sweet to get both Mihm and Smith, although the Bulls probably can't afford it, but damn the Bulls would really add a lot of size this off season. There would be 2, 7 footers (Gray and Mihm) at Center and a 6'11 (Noah) and 6'10 player (Smith) at forward. The Bulls wouldn't have a small front court no more, especially if they get rid of Sweetney which they probably will.

Any time you get rid of Sweetney, your team gets smaller...I don't care who you add.

DerMarr Johnson would be a nice addition. He'd come extremely cheap and when he's on he can be lights out. He's just a very injury prone. But he's 6'9 and can play the 2 and 3.

if only some of the nimrods on this board understood this. dengness, conan, airgordon, etc. you guys need to wake up and see that the bulls need a low post scorer and the only way to get that is to trade a valuable player. duh?
