Default What it be?

Looks like Pau isn't going anywhere. Wish West would make a
trade. Don't see Pau playing very hard the rest of the season if
he stays. One bright side is Rudy G. is playing great now.

Where did you read that? If Chicago really offered that and West declined than he should get outta town asap. I will really be pissed if Boston offered
Jefferson/Green and West refused. Griz need a GM like a Brian Colangelo in
Toronto who is a good judge of young talent.

Sorry guys but there is only one Brian Colangelo and it is in Toronto. And it is untouchable.
Keep trying with old glorys which really past his prime. West is overrated because of his past. But it is a terrible GM.
Paul Gasol is right. His is fed up with the Memphis organitation and his GM. Gasol is a winner and Grizzlies were unable to sorround him with talent and good coaches.

Fire West, get a better GM and pray for Oden!! And keep Pau Gasol!!

It was on inside hoops nba rumors.A reported deal came out and that was paxons last ditch effort to get pau.But West wanted deng not gordon.

West must be nuts to have turned that down. I noticed Duhon getting a lot more minutes right before the trade deadline like the Bulls were checking to see if he could start again. Gordon would have been what this franchise needs. West seems out of touch with talent now. He could have got Gordon AND Deng after last season for Gasol. West is going to f*** it up again and get a lot less for Pau during the off season.
Dang! Deng! why did you have to get great all the sudden?
(p.s. I think half the people on Inside Hoops would make better GM than West)

Well thats not true.As much as we bash gm's.They are there for a reason and we are where we are for a reason. They are talented men.It is extermely difficult to make deals im sure. You do not want to ruin your franchises's future for a few seasons of succsess.I agree at times it is extremely frustrating, and it seems so easy to us as fans to make the right moves.IN retrospect these men no more then us and are well aware of how to do there jobs.West seems to be falling out of touch with the new influx if talent.I agree that his drafts have been poor at best.He missed alot of talent, and has not taking many risks. However he did help memphis turn around there franchise.Lets cut him some slack things will be better next year.

I have to admit he has gotten some pretty bad luck lately.
The trade with the Heat would have gone off if D Wade hadn't
gotten injured. And the year we got the 2nd pick and lost it to
detroit. He overloaded the roster the over the hill vets though
that could only get the team to reach the playoffs and that was
it. Fratello knew how to slow the game down to crank out the Ws.
It was great for Heisley since the playoffs got more value for the team.
So if success is measured by how much the team is worth in
dollars he did a pretty good job but as far as what it is worth in
talent than that is not so good. When you look at the roster it is
a sorry looking team. He still has the summer to turn it around.
