No offense to the Heat, but they were quite lucky that the best front court lineup they faced was two 15 ppg scorers in West and Hibbert. Most years they would not have gotten away with the extremely small lineups they were playing, but with all the lockout injuries it was no problem. To be fair, they had their share of injuries, but I'm honestly not sure they would have beaten the 11 Heat in a series.

Apart from those early 90's Bulls teams, you'd be correct.

Seriously, this is a pitiful list.

lol, well, 06 Heat were one of the better teams of all time. I still stand by that. They had everything you need. They ****ed up in the Finals, sure, but if you look at the pieces they had... they compare favorably to anyone. I think they are better than the Bad Boy Pistons. No lie.

THIS

They've been hyping him up since HS, excusing all of his fails and now finally wins a title (asterisked ) and all of a sudden hes the GOAT?

Heat are probably the weakest champions of All-Time.
Think about it, how many teams were elite last year?

Old ass Spurs, inexperienced Thunder and the retirement home in Boston.
Lakers had no bench and a weak ass point guard. The 2nd best team in the regular season lost their superstar in Derrick Rose. Despite playing in a weak ass eastern conference, Miami still had a ton of problems against Indiana and Boston.

There was nothing convincing about their win versus the Thunder either. All games were very close and the Thunder were as bad as the Lakers were against them earlier in the playoffs at executing down the stretch.

I can't even name a recent champion since 2000 that would lose to last year's Miami squad. Seriously, teams like the 02' Kings and 00' Blazers would chew them up in probably 5 games. Miami's defense is tremendous but their lack of inside presence is problematic. James & Wade do not mesh well either, they need the ball to be effective.

01' Lakers nearly swept the entire playoffs and they're not even in the top 10. The list is atrocious.

By the way, 01' Lakers beat the Spurs by over 20 PPG margin; greatest margin in league history. Those same Spurs probably would have beaten last year's Miami. Just saying.

01 Lakers were amazing. Best 1-2 punch in NBA history, with Kobe and Shaq both playing at a peak level. I would have put that team up against any team from any time.

And you're right, those Spurs would have abused this past year's Heat.

I don't understand why people feel the need to create a formula when their eyes and common sense are far more accurate. Formulas suck. They don't mean a damn thing. All that matters is Ws and Ls.
