I already grabbed Braid, the Battlefield pack and Shogun 2 for about $42 though so I've made out pretty well. Shogun 2 was worth it alone .

Yea I'll have to look into Alpha protocol and Frozen Synapse, don't know much about either.

Some decent deals today. Think I'm gonna get S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Deus Ex.

In a word: underwhelming.

Torchlight and Frozen Synapse so far. Regret torchlight, but I'm having a blast with Frozen Synapse. TB has an awesome video review of the game here.

Agreed, 2 days in a row of stuff I have no interest in. I really wish I didn't miss day 1. $7.50 for Borderlands GOTY was something I wanted and I would have checked out Test Drive Unlimited 2 for how cheap it was. Hopefully those 2 come back around for some kind of discount.

Picked up Jamestown and Kings bounty. Giantbomb did a quicklook of jamestown and it looked pretty interesting.

The recent trend in pricing where new releases will see discounts of 10-50% within months of release, has killed any desire to buy anything at release. I'm not too mad about any games that were held out of this sale for that reason; a corrective move for new releases to hold their value is better for everyone imo. The whole meh of this sale is that I've seen prices cheaper during midweek madness, and much cheaper during the Winter Sale. The games I might've been interested in haven't reached a price I'm willing to pay, mostly bc of their age.

Well today's the last day for steam summer sales. Just a recap of some of their deals. Just getting back into pc gaming so I was able to pick up a few games I didn't have.
