You haven't stopped growing. Growth is not linear with time, or we'd be 10 metres tall :)
You'll keep growing in a disordered way (2 inches one year, nothing next year, 3 inches next..) until you're 21, 22.
But the suggestion not to use overweights isn't about growing in height. it's not that if you use weights they "pull you down" and you don't grow. The problem - read again chocogrease thread, btw, please - is that while you're growing, and your muscles are growing, your connettive tissue (ligamens and tendons) is a little behind. Doing exercise with overweights now would certainly help you build muscular mass, as you've seen, but your connettive tissue isn't ready, you would stretch and stress it, an you'll be in danger of injuries for your ankle, knee, hip and back.
As I told the other guy, now you're body is really receptive to other kinds of training.. coordination trainings, and technique trainings. In a few years developing these abilities will be much harder. So get smart (in a physical meaning) now, and then you'll have a bulk to build strenght on.
Moreover, you don't jump with calves. You jump with feet, calves, quadriceps, hips, abs, arms.. Becoming some kind of freak with enormous calves wouldn't even be useful. When it will be time (in two years, and very, very, gradually), there will be exercises more complete than calf raises that will help you to increase your vertical reach. Meanwhile, I repeat, develope your jumping techinque, ignoring how high you reach. If you really want to have some strenght training, things like suicides, uphill sprints (really uphill and really sprinting) and stairs are really a good training.
