They won 51 games the year before. Its not like he took a 20 win team to the playoffs. He played great and replaced what Hayward brought them but lets not act like he didn't have a whole bunch of talent around him either.

Swap Booker and Mitchell. Utah is still a playoff team, the Suns are still awful. Huge difference between playing with Rubio at PG and playing with Shaq Harrison or Tyler Ulis. With Gobert at center vs Alex Len or Marquise Chriss.

That jump shot is just so balanced, effortless, and smooth. Glad he's working on the mid range pullup, as that was by and large missing from his game last year.
who ever has the intention of sophmore slumping?

his scoring translated into wins = better than booker

he overpreformed like crazy last year and teams will have gametape and gameplan against him this season = more likely to take a step back

They’re both superstars. Mitchell is obviously a special player, what he did to OKC was incredible. Booker is a savage with the ability to score 70. I’ll take either.

Mitchell is quicker, more explosive, and fearless.

Simply a better player at this point.

You have a low expectation level for superstars, then.

Mitchell, maybe.

Booker not even close.

Doesn’t matter when Tatum is much better than both of them

Here are the Suns ratings since he came into the league.

1st year: 28th ORTG and 25th DRTG
2nd year: 22nd ORTG and 28th DRTG
3rd year: 30th ORTG and 30th DRTG

And people are labeling this kid a superstar.

Unreal.

I admittedly haven't watched much of him, but he looks far slower than Mitchell and has a far more difficult time getting open shots for himself.

He's more concerned with putting on masks and trying to act hard in elevators.

The logic is strong with this one.

You should probably watch before you have an opinion. Theyre both the future, I didn’t mean right now they’re top 10 level but soon enough.

Wait, I'm confused.

Is ISH no longer disparaging young players that have holes in their game?

I must have missed the memo.

That's fair. Mitchell should be credited for some of the team's success. Not too sure I agree with a regression. Perception might change. The consensus is Utah has separated themselves as the 3rd best team in the west. Some people are even floating the idea of second best team. The expectations for the Jazz might be too high, and Mitchell might take a step back as everyone's new favorite player.

Good thread idea
