Default Hornets will focus on stopping one of the big three

"With the big three playing the way they're playing, you've got to take away one of those guys," Hornets coach Byron Scott said. "All three of those guys can't have a great series."

With Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili in the Spurs' backcourt, the Hornets will once again focus on transition defense. New Orleans will try to protect the lane and force San Antonio to be a jump-shooting team.

Scott said he knows that between Duncan, Parker and Ginobili, someone must be stopped.

"With the big three playing the way they're playing, you've got to take away one of those guys," Scott said. "All three of those guys can't have a great series."

The Hornets will be put to the test beginning Saturday night, when the Spurs arrive at the New Orleans Arena for Game 1 of a best-of-seven Western Conference semifinal series.

Hell you shut down one of them, the other two will go ballistic and the bench will hopefully step up. Bring it on, New Orleans.

As long as the other 2 are scoring... we won't have any problems...

Well, looks like Duncan was their target. I'm sure "Papa *****" as my friend Garret not-so-affectionately refers to him will come up with some adjustments to get him scoring the ball easier. I think we did well for that first half, but then we let them get back in it. It was nice seeing Bruce Bowen step up and get 17 points in the first two quarters. Hopefully we will see a solid performance by each of the Big Three next game.

Yep... it's not like Tim is going to have another one of those games again...
