If the grizz get a top pick in the draft,and actually use there money this year to pick up a guard.Maybe ridnour or billups.Could the grizz be dominant next year.
Ya right?As if thats never been done befor.A team has been a cellar team,then gotten a few players.Then they turn it around.Look at the spurs they got tim duncan,then all there top players got healthy then they began dominating.If the griz sign billups,get oden,miller and pau both are healthy,and rudy is now a year older.With the addition of a new good minded coach.The griz could be damn good next year.Alot of that is possible.Dont be hating over here just cause the t'wolves are on the downward spiral.

In the long run, I'm going to have to go with the latter team because it has so much more potential to be great, sure you might risk a season at most being a sub .500 team, but after that and another good draft pick.. Memphis could be a great team.

This team looks great. I would take this team 9 times out of 10, only picking the other team once because they guarantee more wins but for only less seasons.
Why on Earth would you want to trade your pick for a guard like Ridnour, Ridnour wouldn't even be top 5 material in this draft.
i hadn't heard these billups rumors. not sure why he would leave detroit. but if he did? scary team.
There was a report that billups would look our way as a suitor.Ben wallace left didnt he.We all thought there was no way he would leave detroit.He was loyal and yada yad.Billups could come for the right price.

That team looks very promising, I would love to see this happen. Obviously we have 4 of the 5 players listed, but with the draft we could most definitly grab Oden. Can't wait for the draft lottery.
Yeah but the grizzlies have always had bad luck.Every draft we never get the player we want.Except last year when we got gay in a trade.
The Gay trade is based on potential though. Even if he doesn't achieve his full potential, he'll still be a great player. If you get the first pick, then there is no doubt in my mind that Oden is your guy.
Imagine having to stare that in the face. Two starting 7 footers. Memphis will have one of the best front lines in the NBA in a couple of seasons time.
If i were the General Manager i wouldn't trade away the pick for someone like Ridnour or even Billups. Memphis is in a re-building stage, Billups would rather win now, and Ridnour just isn't your guy.
I have high hopes for Memphis. In a couple years, they should be a great team.

Yeah, I'm sure Gasol would stick around with knowing that another great player will be joining him at Memphis.
