It was 07 at the time and Duncan and Shaq had won 8 of the last 9 titles.

He'll probably go to China or Europe to play ball... or never play again.

    I feel sorry for him.

What would Oden's ceiling be without all the surgeries?

I'm actually starting to think the doctors in Portland don't know what the hell they are doing. I think they killed Oden's career.

Would be nice, but its simply not possible. He's had 2 surgeries from injuries he suffered rehabbing after being injured in his last NBA game. His career playing basketball is over.

At its current state, his body is just not meant to handle the stress that is caused by basketball.

You do realize Oden's left leg is one inch longer than his right leg, right? Google it. Then Google why having disproportionate legs is bad for a REGULAR PERSON let alone an athlete whose chosen sports is to jump and run 100% of the time. The doctors have told the Blazers that Oden is not suited to play basketball but they didn't listen.

I just SMH at some of you guys...

    Yes for real!

Same could be said of Yao Those orthopods could not prevent repeated fractures to his metatarsals? Hmm to be fair I heard chronic osteomyelitis complicating his recovery... which does make bone healing very difficult and prone to union complications.

Still, why does Kobe have to go to Germany on word-of-mouth to get "State-of-the-art" treatment on his knee? wth? And it basically just sounded like reinjecting his own spun-down serum back into his knee for pain relief?

Yes but then he'll be injured again. Why? Because his body is not suited to play basketball where you jump and run all the time! Why? Because one of his legs is one inch longer than his other leg! I'm not making this up... Google it and look at the pre-draft reports by his doctors. One leg is one inch longer than the other.

Don't blame the doctors... blame his parents for giving him bad genes.

He really should go to Germany (tho I don't know if that helps him) and he should try and go to a place with a known medical staff. That's not Portland. Phoenix seems a good option, if they were interested. Anywhere else?

    I hope he makes it.
