The lebrick probably was uncalled for but prime duncan vs prime lebron I gotta go with the winner all the way. If you were to ask me who would i take, a prime wilt or a prime russell i would go russell all the way, even though I'm a big lakers fan.

so uh... guy who's name is Lebron23, you dont know what your talking about, ever.

So you agree that you'd take Billups over Chris Paul? Or even Stockton?

I'm a huge supporter of Duncan, but LeBron is my choice here. He really is THAT good. The rings will come as they usually do for the undisputed (once Kobe declines) best player in the game, so saying you'd pick Duncan because he has four doesn't hold a lot of weight.

I wouldn't be a die-hard Spurs fan if I cared about jersey sales, ratings, popularity and ESPN Highlights. If you want Championships guys, you go with Duncan. Easily.

theres no guarantee that lebron wins more then 2 rings.. yea, i can notch down 2 for him right now.. but anything more is a risky risky bet...especially considering

a) he's a swingman, not a big
b) he isnt playing with ,nor probably wont be playing with another top 5 player

I'll take a dominant Big who can controll the boards and the paint on both sides of the court. As good as LeBron is he isn't able to impact the game as much as a Prime Duncan.

is easier to start a franchise with a all-star/superstar big than a wing, so my vote goes to Tim Duncan.

Duncan. If he gets to the finals, he never loses. Not to mention he has a bigger impact on the game by virtue of his position.

I know I'm dreaming....but imagine LeBron and Duncan on one team. Better yet, imagine LeBron at the 4 and Duncan at the 5. I'm not even sure if that works but damn does it sound crazy.
