Rios will kill Vernon Paris.

And he may get embarrassed for 12 rounds, but he will not, i repeat, will not get knocked out, lol.

We don't know if that was a prime AB. If it was, then he/and Golden Boy are in a world of trouble.

I kind of agree that Rios won't fall. That guy seems to enjoy getting punched in the face. But the referee will likely stop the fight regardless if Pac is teeing off on him.

He was not "destroying" Marquez at the point of the knockout in the 6th. It was a fairly even fight.

rios is like a smaller, faster margarito.

rios is levels above vernon paris though, at one point he was one of the best if not the best lightweight around.

I don't think Rios gets knocked out either. If anything, the ref stops it. I don't think Rios ever been knocked down. And let's not forget, Manny has not had a KO since Ricky Hatton at 140.

It's going to be interesting to see how or if Pac can still take a punch. He's there to be hit. Pacman is such a superior boxer compared to Rios, he should win. Only way he loses if he gets knocked out.

- really enjoyed that Bradley-Marquez fight. Don't remember hearing anyone really giving Bradley a chance. He clearly won. No way it was a robbery.

Don't think he was destroying him either but I felt the tide was turning as Pac starting to land some heavy shots with Marquez opening up more, looking for the KO himself. I think he would eventually had stopped Juan, had he not got KTFO with a sec left.

Classic commentating too. "Oh no!!! That's what we were worried about!!!"

Watching him and McClellan fight was epic. You know those fights wouldn't go the distance, and Jackson happened to be on the bad end of each of those.

Saying that though, McClellan was a better boxer than Jackson, by far.

Hadn't Pac already been knocked down?

Manny had clearly taken control of the fight. He knocked down Marquez and was hitting him with vicious shots pretty consistently later in the round. Marquez then hit him with a perfect counter and manny went to sleep. Manny didn't look shot in that fight....if the manny that got KO'd by Marquez shows up against Rios it's not going to be a long night for bam bam

That was a great era for Super Middleweights. Benn, Eubank, James Toney (if he never moved up to HW), Mike McCallum, and of course RJJ, to name a few.

Yes, Marquez had been knocked down. I didn't say he was dominating the fight though. I think its hard to say you were dominating/controlling the fight when you had been knocked down a couple rounds earlier. Pac may have been ahead, but not by anything significant. Also if you watch their fights JMM always did good work against him in the later rounds. The man doesn't go down.
