Default Rondo acquisition ---> Nets dismantling ----> KG buyout

You think that figured into the Mavs thought process, when trading for Rondo? If KG gets a buyout, the Mavs simply sign KG as a replacement for B. Wright. KG and Tyson protecting the rim.

If KG gets bought out (which is possible if Nets crash for some reason but in no way tied to Rondo) he'd go to Clippers with Doc with Wizards with Pierce an outside possibility. Not mavs.

KG should do a Ray Allen and run to Lebron who needs a rim protector. No need to go out West

Unless the nets get rid of one of their "big 3" members and picks up a solid 4... they are not gonna buy out Kevin Garnett. He fills in a lot of the nets weaknesses. The nets don't have a pick so there is no need to cut players for no reason. The worse record the nets have the better pick Atlanta gets.

I think if they had massive injuries and fell out of the playoff chase he'd ask out. But yeah, that's a big IF. But if he asks out, he needs to be let go. He's not that kind of person you could deal with at that point.

    Would you consider trading him?

I'd definitely welcome KG on the Clips.

KG is too old school to team up with LeBron

You seem so sure. Do you have discussions with KG about his future plans? Did you hear him directly say he will only go where Doc and Pierce are? No. So anything is possible(). He will go where he can win with the abilities he has left.

would be nice but I don't think rondo and kg are on THAT level for him to follow rondo to the mavs. kg lives in la when the season isn't in session so I think he will end up with the clippers sooner or later......clippers definitely need a big man who can shoot free throws at the end of games and somebody to kind of give deandre and griffin an edge they both lack

The Mavs and Clippers are the two teams he' d probably choose between.

I think he'd choose the Clippers because he wouldn't wanna be Dirk's backup.

Either way there's virtually no reason for the Nets to buy KG right now.

KG is not owed money next season, the Nets won't buy him out unless he asks them.

He won't be bought out....but KG to the Wiz

All we do is shoot midrange jumpers anyway! Defense and midrange...we're like the KG of teams.
