Bruno Mars was very good, but the Chili Peppers were the real halftime show MVP.

The weird thing about height tho is that some guys are visibly small and everyone knows it, like Joe Pesci, and then with other guys people never realize it until its shown in a completely obvious context.
Wonder why dat is doe

So him having a similar style to those guys is a bad thing? I guess you'd prefer to see Justin Bieber perform with Kesha or something.

Prince is a legend, but as far as Superbowl performances go, Bruno was better than Prince.

There was definitely a mix going on, which I guess is preferable for a stadium performance. People have learned from the debacles of The Who and The Stones, although Prince, McCartney, Springsteen, Petty and U2 didn't have the same vocal audio troubles.
The dancing and light show were very polished. I'd give him an A-.
As for RHCP, aging rock stars need to keep their shirts on.

I've seen Bruno Mars live on The Jungle Tour. This looked pretty authentic.
I loved this performance even though I'm not a Bruno Mars fan (My son's favorite singer in case people ask why I went to a concert)
I am comfortable with people saying this was better than the Prince halftime. I don't think people are saying Mars is greater than Prince, I think Mars brought that currentness that inflicted energy to this SB. I was at the bar and I saw oldie biker men bobbing their heads, Something that probably wouldn't have happened during Prince.

wow, heard on the radio that SB performers pretty much always do their acts for FREE because of all the publicity they get from it, and that after Beyonce did her SB act her sales and fan base went up over 40%
for Beyonce performing at the SB almost doubled her already gianormace fan base...that is amazing
